If you’re like most patients, you appreciate being informed before arriving at the dentist. Below is an overview of what you can expect during your first visit to 4 Dental Health.

Our team is happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have about our practice during your appointment. 

If you would like to receive a teeth cleaning at your first appointment, let us know when scheduling! We are happy to carve out the time for a cleaning treatment with one of our registered dental hygienists. If you would prefer to just have an exam, we can make that happen too! 

Our team will start your appointment by asking you questions about your medical and dental history. Certain medical conditions or medications can impact your treatment plan, so we will also ask you to list any medications you are taking and their dosages (including vitamins and supplements). 

Then we will continue with a comprehensive exam which may include x-rays, a non-invasive oral cancer screening, and a periodontal exam to check for signs of gum disease. Once your exam is finished, we will discuss our findings with you. Together, we will create a treatment plan that best fits your desires, while also giving you a healthy smile.
